Here's my long overdue post about happenings during the holidays.

Had my TKD farewell BBQ cum chalet at Downtown East on the 2nd week of the holidays. Was having mixed feelings during the Dual Exco meeting with our predecessors. Both nostalgia and relief mixed up together made me feel sick so I decided to keep my gab shut for most of the time. To the next batch of EXCO, good luck ;). Overall, the BBQ was great. Got to know the J1s better and realised they are quite a bunch of nice people. My kind of people. Lol. Later on pool-ed at the new pooling place near Downtown East. Lost badly, and ended up the biggest loser. Aww. Think I flushed whatever "skills" I had away. O well.

Stayed over the at the chalet with 8 J1s with me being the only J2. Passed on the Polar Bear tradition and we played and chatted all night long. Freaked myself out about the ghosties at 4am and slept at about 5am-6am. Not a pleasant doze cos' I couldn't get comfortable. Ha. Trudged home with some of the peeps at about 6.30 am and fell asleep at 7am at home.

I was pissed-offly woken up at 11am by the stupid drilling outside my house. Realising I couldn't sleep anymore, I decided to quickly urge Doug to rally S201 peeps to go LAN-ing. Walked in the shop tired and vomiting due to an overearly dose of unhealthy Big Breakfast from Mac's. But came out refreshed cos' the games that day was so good.

Also met up with some of the 4E guys for street soccer! Was so good seeing their familiar faces after 0.5 - 1 years of non-contact other than the occasional Hello on MSN. We were so psyched to play even the heavy rain during the whole day didn't stop us from playing. Umbrellas used to shield us from the rain were soon abandoned when we started getting high. (on soccer, not drugs). But playing in the rain has his setbacks too. It's not the cold or the possibility of getting sick. It's the disgusting wet socks and shoes after the rain. Screwed my BATA shoes over and it's officially un-wearable unless I don't mind walking around with my shoes as a biological weapon of mass destruction.

Recently went for the 2nd National Poomsae Category with Nad. Us being the only from Meridian competing. -.- Our category had only 1 other team, and we came in second with a score of 8.033. O well. Good job NTU team. :D

Been to el-man's house a few times during the hols. Tried GTA4 and Halo3 both on Xbox Live. I'm so envious. I WANT IT! Yet some factors are making me NOT WANT IT! So I'm sort of in a dilemma now.

And I've used the holidays to catch up some of the movies that I've missed out. Got my hands on Jumper, Kung Fu Panda, The Spidewick Chronicles, LOTR Trilogy, Hulk, Be Kind Rewind, Horton, Scrubs Season 1-7 etc. And I've finished all of them! HAHAHA!

I'm also a proud owned of a Creative ZEN now. It's so much more user-friendly than my old MP4. The screen's bigger. Picture quality is better. The new 2+8GB totally trashes my old 2GB MP4. But I'm having problems loading videos in. When I get around that problem, it would be my portable movie house. Muaha.

Spent most of my hols, mugging, mugging, mugging. Mr Max Theory: The more you mug, the less stress you become. True. Lol.

Going gaga over Airbourne. They're like ACDC. But have their own unique pros that make them stand out. So nice.
