it's been a while since i've blogged, so i'm back, with this special 2008 post. :D

anyway, today (or should i say yesterday, in 2007), i woke up at 12pm to meet yingzhen at simei at 1. then we went to bedok to meet jason, which we then found out that he went to simei to find us.

-.-

LOL, anyway, when we finally managed to rendezvous, we made our way to vivo city to buy something which yingzhen needed. which turned out to be.. a handphone screen protector. What?! Yes, she wanted to go to vivo to get a 20 bucks one instead of a cheap one from the tampines pasar malam. LOL! anyway, on the long trip there, we chatted loudly (maybe to the annoyance to some of our fellow passengers, but who cares) and i told them about the big hoo-ha in my recent extra training at bedok reservoir.

"when trianing was about to start, few of the sirs, started shouting Oi oi at a few teenagers. then turned out to be 3 guys whacking one dude. slashing actually, with what appears to be a parang. then those 3 guys ran away, and the solo slashed-up-in-the-neck dude walked past our training area dripping a few droplets of blood on the way" not everything you see everyday huh? :D

well, back to the happenings of today, when we reached vivo and after me and jason have had our filling meal of mushroom chicken chop and seafood platter, we made a way to some shop to get yingzhen her 20 bucks handphone screen protector. >.< LOL! after that, we pretty much bo-liaoed for the next hour or so.

what we did were:-
1. walked around a lot
2. bo-liaoed
3. went to pet safari to see the dogs
4. went to arcade but didn't play anything
5. went to the roof top wading pool but didn't wade
6. bo-liaoed some more
7. went back to arcade and didn't play anything
8. played wii

in the end we decided to go back to pasir ris to play pool. but on the MRT trip home, we came up with the idea of going yingzhen's house to mahjong. but we abolished that idea soon once we realised we couldn't play mahjong without the mahjong set. so we got off at tampines to catch a movie or play pool, which we didn't do either of it.

at tampines mall, we played BISHIBASHI at the arcade, and i won. yingzhen is a bishibashi newbie. haha. XD. then i tried some shooting game which i died quickly. then made our way to toys r us to play with styrofoam swords and stuff. hahaha. so bo liao. after that we went to mos burger to get milk tea. yingzhen keep saying milk tea, so i thought it was like bubble thing or something, in the end it's just teh-peng (or tea with milk and ice). -.-

so yingzhen PANG SEHed me and jason at about 7. then both of us go play LAN at the empty LAN gaming center on the 3rd floor of the Tampines sports complex. haha, played 1 game of dota, then started playing CS with some strangers. top frag me and jason. XD after a while, we left and i decided to go with jason to watch the fireworks display at marina bay.

we elbowed, cursed under our breaths, gave a lot of "tsk"s and basically walked through the never ending crowd on the bridge above the river. after 1 hour of finding, we managed to get a pretty good spot, so me and jason sat down and waited for 1 hour. while we waited, people were being funny and stupid, shouting and cheering at the stupidest thing, like a single balloon floating up in the sky, probably let go by some kid.

WA BALLOON! TAKE OUT PHONE TAKE OUT PHONE! haha

we discussed about music, metal, things we do on youtube and etc. until at about 11.55 pm when we stood up and got out our phones to get ready for a supposed spectacular show. and then, it began.

arent they pretty? LOL! really like the ones that acted like golden dust falling down the sky. so magical. so beautiful. so... disney.

and it ended as quickly as it started, me and jason quickly made our great escape through the crowd trying to get to the MRT before everyone else. but since we are all singaporeans and we all think alike in the end, we were still stuck on the bridge. people were getting restless while we waited and some argues with the traffic police about letting us cross the road, and they refused to. after awhile, and some cursing and complaining, we, the suppressed people of the bridge at marina bay, STOOD UP against the tyrants of the road, and we climbed through the bridge railings and walked across the street blatantly. HA! shiok sia, the adrenaline rush and all.

and this ends 2007. a truly fun year.

and this also welcomes the start of 2008, a year which i hope to be as fun, even though the bloody A levels are looming closer and closer with each passing second. hope i can go to another rock concert or something. :D

happy new year everyone. :D
